Home Assistant (HASS) is an exceptional open source, open platform automation tool for the home. But did you know that you can extend HA beyond the home and into your world of IT? HA can automate and control devices that have integrations built in, but you can also do the same for some things that do not. And many things that you can control in the home, you also want to control in IT, like cameras, networks, switches, routers, and even desktops. We will take a look at some of the more useful and creative ways to integrate HASS into your daily worklife using a simple ZimaBoard server, and HASS installation, and a few integrations and Add-ons.
